Welcome To Pinsharp Photography

After three months of hard frosts, snow fall over most of the country the first hints of Spring are finally appearing; buds are swelling on the Chestnut trees, abundant catkins are accompanied by the air filling with birdsong. The dawn chorus has begun, the song thrush is singing brightly from the tree tops and the rooks are busy strengthening and repairing last years rookery nests after months of winter gales.

For new or returning visitors to the web site, the News page has a piece about Nigel's latest trip to Northumberland and Cumbira photographing Red Squirrels.

The year ahead is unfolding in exciting terms as  the two large wildlife photography projects based in Britain, which will include TV, Internet and Sky broadcasting later in 2010, get underway. We are also researching material for articles on Gamekeeping, its history, the Country Estates, changes and future. There is more in an outline in the News section, so please click on that if you are able to assist.

Our galleries are being enlarged with new and exciting images of the Natural World around us. The range of Greetings Cards is expanding and we have just a few Pinsharp Photography 2010 Calendars remaining.
